PLUS product family New transmitters announcement!

Tekon Electronics has developed 6 new wireless transmitters that will reinforce the PLUS product family. As has been revealed, new transmitters were being prepared to complement the offer of the PLUS product family. The new models are distinguished by the simplicity of the number of supported inputs, but guarantee the reliability of communication and performance that prevail in the other products of the PLUS family. The new transmitters are divided into three different types of inputs, where each has a new product with 1 and 2 connection inputs.

The new versions are available in two versions of radio frequencies - 868 MHz and 915 MHz - according to the other products in the PLUS family.

PLUS TWP-2AI  //  PLUS TWP-1AI
Transmitters with only 1 or 2 analog inputs, keeping the focus on acquiring analog signals in simpler applications.

MAIN FEATURES:

• Acquisition of analog signals (4..20 mA / 0..10 V)
• Remote controlled digital output
• Up to 4km of communication (LoS)
• Dual operating mode (transmitter or transmitter and repeater)
• Wireless signal monitoring

 PLUS TWP-2UT  //  PLUS TWP-1UT
Transmitters with only 1 or 2 universal temperature inputs, focusing on wireless temperature monitoring in several applications.
 

MAIN FEATURES:

• Universal temperature input (PT100 / Thermocouples C, J, K, N, R, S and T)
• Remote controlled digital output
• Up to 4km of communication (LoS)
• Dual operating mode (transmitter or transmitter and repeater)
• Wireless signal monitoring
   

Note: the new temperature transmitters will have a variant with a built-in antenna, with the purpose of integrating complete solutions for composting applications, cereals fermentation, among others. We will inform you as soon as the solution is ready for the market.

PLUS TWP-2DI  //  PLUS TWP-1DI
Transmitters with 1 or 2 digital inputs, with discrete input functionality or with pulse counter functionality. This last option allows increasing the range of possible implementations of PLUS solutions in an industrial context.

OPTIONS OF POWER SUPPLY

The new range of transmitters of PLUS wireless family will have more power supply options. In addition to the supply system already supported by PLUS transmitters, the new products can be distributed and applied with optional power accessories:

» Accessory for supplying primary batteries

With this accessory, new PLUS transmitters can be powered through a set of primary batteries, eliminating power cables from another source.

» Accessory for supplying rechargeable batteries and solar panel

With this new power supply system, the new PLUS transmitters will take advantage of solar energy and rechargeable batteries. Tekon Electronics developed an accessory that will house rechargeable batteries, which will be charged using solar energy captured by a small solar panel.
