SICK DBS60 Inox incremental encoder - for the harshest working conditions

The combination of a complete stainless steel design and a rugged shaft seal make the DBS60 Inox incremental encoder resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

The SICK DBS60 Inox range includes encoders with two types of stainless steel housings:

• 303/304 (V2A) with standard IP67 housing protection;
• 316L (V4A) with IP69K housing protection.

SICK DBS60 Inox series encoders: IP67 and IP69K (DBS60I-W*) will be ideally suited for applications requiring high protection against aggressive media and cleaning agents.

The IP69K DBS60I-W* variant with its patented deflector shield, which protects the shaft seal, is an ideal product for high-pressure, warm-water washdown typical for environments in the food and beverage industry. In addition, the IP69K (DBS60I-W*) encoder version, thanks to its design, prevents the formation of bacteria on the housing, and the 316L (V4A) stainless steel encoder housing is corrosion-resistant.

• Standardized number of pulses per turn: 512,1000,1024, 2000, 2048, 2500, 5000;
• Electrical interface: TTL / RS-422; HTL / push pull; combined (according to voltage)
• Mechanical connection and shaft variations:
  • Square flange or face mount flange;
  • Shaft diameter 3/8; 10 mm;
  • Hollow shaft diameter 6; 8; 10; 12; 14; 15 mm.
• Cable length and connector variations:
  • Radial M12 connector;
  • 8-pin shielded cable 1.5; 5; 10 m.
• Stainless steel housing diameter 58 mm:
  • 303/304 (V2A) IP67;
  • 316L (V4A) IP69K.
