Wireless transmitters in Modbus RTU network

1
The base station receives the data sent by the transmitters and makes them available further in the MOdbus RTU network.
Analog, temperature and sensors with digital outputs are connected to the transmitter. The transmitter transmits the sensor data to the base station via a radio signal. With the Weintek HMI we read data in the Modbus RTU network.

Usage

Wireless transmitters are ideal if the readed sensors far apart from eatch other and if providing wired communication are too expensive and too time consuming, or if it is simply not possible to place physical wires .

Advantages

Wide range of connectable sensors 0-10V, 4-20mA, PT100, K, N, R, S and T thermocouples and digital signals 24 VDC.
Easily expandable network and the ability to increase the transmission distance with repeaters.

Specification

24 VDC power supply. The base station supports up to 55 transmitters. Data transmission distance up to 4 km.
Base station supported protocol: Modbus RTU
