Mass and volume flow measurement of bulk materials
Knowing how much raw materials are consumed or stored can be a challenging. With the SICK Bulkscan sensor solution, you can monitor conveyor transport systems and determine the volume flow of raw materials.
The SICK Bulkscan Lidar sensor can be installed on all types of open conveyors. The profile of the material on the conveyor is scanned, which in combination with belt speed, represents volume flow and calculated mass flow.
