Temperature sensors
Temperature sensors are used to control the temperature of a liquid, molten metal, solid object or room. The principle of operation of temperature sensors is the conversion of temperature into an electrical signal. Using an electrical signal, data can be transmitted over the network with great speed, measurement accuracy and sensitivity.
The two types of sensors most commonly used are thermocouples and thermistors. But there are also non-contact, digital quartz, and various combined temperature sensors.
