New milestones, new challenges - 2024

The year 2024 has begun with wintry and foggy sunshine. It is once again a new beginning, a new milestone, as well as new challenges and, of course, new opportunities, new knowledge and new connections. Looking back on 2023, we can say that it has been quite full of interesting challenges and many highlights. It has finally been a year in which we have all been able to use the experience of the past years to adapt quickly to the ever-changing circumstances and feel more confident in our business decisions and actions. We have learned to work in a different way, through various restrictions and turbulences, and we are no longer intimidated by new technologies or their applications; on the contrary, we have become familiar with them. This has enabled us to become more efficient and to do things smarter. The road to automation, and digitalisation, is not an easy or quick one, but whether we like it or not, it is one that we will have to take in order to stay competitive and, always, to try to stay one step ahead of the rest of the market.

In 2023, ZTF Lāsma has taken several important steps in its development. We have worked hard on the development and improvement of our customer portal Lasma.eu, which we also plan to do in the future. We have also been working on improving the efficiency of our processes in order to be faster, more responsive and more flexible. We continue to develop our product portfolio to offer our customers exactly what they need for efficient industrial automation. One of the key steps we have taken is the signing cooperation agreement with the globally well-known senor manufacturer. Since 1st August 2023, our company ZTF Lāsma is the leading sensor specialist and supplier of Telemecanique Sensors in the Baltic States. We are very proud to offer our existing and future customers limit switches, sensors and security solutions from this world-class manufacturer!

During the last year, our company also organised face-to-face courses in HMI data visualisation for engineers and visualisation developers. During these courses, we shared our knowledge on automating industrial processes using Weintek's visualisation dashboards (HMI). The participants said that they had gained valuable and extensive knowledge in a short period of time. It has been a great experience that has allowed them to appreciate the wide range of possibilities offered by HMI and has also been a valuable contribution to their personal development.

We have always tried not just to improve ourselves, but to think bigger and contribute to society as a community. On the 29th of December 2023, we finished our annual Christmas Charity Campaign, which has been running for eight years in a row. For the December campaign, we donated 1% of our monthly revenue to the charity. This year, we decided to give and help the seriously ill and terminally ill people. In cooperation with the Ziedot.lv foundation, we donated EUR 2 500 for this purpose and we are really proud that with all our collective effort we will be able to help a little bit to those who are having a harder time at the moment.

The year 2024 will be no exception and the Scientific and Technical Company "Lāsma" will continue to develop as a supplier of the latest automation solutions for the Baltic industrial environment and will support everyone in the supply of products as well as in the design and installation of solutions. Taking care of our customers' needs, we continue to develop the functionality of our e-shop so that you can make your purchases quickly, easily, clearly and with delivery to your door. Towards new heights

We have four beautiful seasons to find their magic, 12 months to reach new heights, 365 days to do one small but very important thing each day. I wish that we can also see the old and so familiar things in everyday life in a new light and be light-bearers ourselves, so that together we can make the world a much brighter place!
