With the latest technology and software, Winwood provides superior automation systems and mechanisms that allow easy and seamless coordination of stage transitions. A company representative, an automation engineer Emīls Vīndedzis, shared his experience with Weintek HMI.
The initial goal was to create a medium-sized control system with HMI and PLC control. The aim was to implement a user interface developed in-house and to realize it in an easy-to-use device. This was a pilot project, which has now evolved into the product "SmartControl PLC" - a control system based on a 7'' Weintek HMI main control console.

The original version of the system used Weintek MT8071iE designing a new visualisation, using icons and additional fonts of your own creation. Later, this model was changed to cMT2078X because its design fitted better with the concept of stage system controls - the industry's predominant colour is black. It is also the model currently in priority use. If we need a larger screen or additional functions (in the case of the WiFi module), we use other models - cMT1106X, cMT2108X2.

System Design is a company specializing in industrial and process automation, offering a wide range of products and services. Large manufacturing company with sophisticated HVAC and compressed air (8 bar) system. To reduce electricity costs.
Weintek HMI panels were equipped with an internal communication network where you can control your zone from any display - shut down the production floor with valves, see, control, and monitor the compressed air system as a whole, and control your shop floor climate and filtration system. In total 7xCMT2078X each in its own production area with one PLC as MASTER. Each display as a Modbus RTU master for summing signals to valves and sensors as well as AHU equipment.

Vides resursu centrs is the largest waste sorting plant in the Baltics, having processed 260 000 tonnes of pre-sorted waste in its first year of operation, separating recyclable materials and hazardous waste. The centre's innovative solutions and efficient operation help to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill, contributing to more environmentally friendly resource management. Weintek's Technical Director Jānis Griķis.
In order to use and apply resources more efficiently, there was a need for dynamic control and visualization of different processes.

A decision is taken in favour of Weintek cMT3162X. In addition, a Seneca electricity meter and weighing module were used. Both modules use the Modbus TCP/IP protocol, which is easy to read with Weintek. Next, I developed the visualisation in Weintek so that on one of the pages you can see a daily summary of the last seven days (electricity consumption, hours worked at a given load, production, etc.), so you can see which shifts have done better and which have had any problems. With Weintek's Trend Display, you can clearly monitor the real-time load of the plant, and with the Event Bar Chart, you can very easily see the events of the day and the historical load of the plant.

Liepājas ūdens SIA is a company owned by Liepāja City Municipality, founded in 2004. The company provides quality drinking water extraction, preparation and supply, as well as wastewater collection, treatment and discharge in accordance with Latvian and EU regulations. A company representative Uldis Zīverts, shares his experience.

After attending a Weintek training course organized by ZTF Lāsma, we decided to use Weintek to upgrade the pump station in the pilot projectcMT-3072X a visualization panel, and the iR-ETN40r remote I/O module. iR-ETN40r was further enhanced with analog input modules. The operator can now see the current pressure and flow in the main pipelines and the levels in the clean water tanks in the control room. The rotation of the pump cascades is automatic and the operating hours are also recorded.
